Having a healthy gut is important for our overall health. Healing your gut helps your body maintain a strong immune system. When we are dealing with Endometriosis, this is especially important. Endometriosis can cause digestive issues such as bloating, diarrhea, constipation, gas, and much more. Making sure that we are doing what we can to keep our digestive tract healthy, may help with these symptoms. Since I battle with this myself, I set out to find some of the top foods that may help with Endo Belly.
This is what I learned about the top foods that may help with Endo Belly. I have even purchased a kit to make some homemade Kombucha. I can’t wait to try it out and let you know.

Fermented Foods – contain healthy bacteria that help digestion and immunity. Some great choices are Kefir, Kombucha, Sauerkraut, Miso, Tempeh, Natto, Kimchi, Yogurt, and Apple Cider Vinegar.
Fruits– not only do they have tons of other nutrients, but they are high in fiber. Choose fruits that are high in fiber, but low in fructose. Some are raspberries, blueberries, and kiwis. Bananas are high in fiber and also contain inulin, a substance that helps stimulate healthy gut bacteria. Pineapples are another great choice since they contain bromelain. Dandelion Root/Greens – a slightly bitter plant that is rich in inulin and pectin. Add some Dandelion greens to your salad. There are also some yummy Dandelion teas.
Cruciferous Vegetables– contain glucosinolates which can help to reduce inflammation in the colon It may also help reduce the risk of certain cancers. Foods like broccoli, Brussel sprouts, bok choy, kale, collard green, and cabbage.
