1: Am I expected to follow a specific meal plan?

Everyone’s body has different nutritional needs, different foods provide healing and energy. During your program, we will work to incorporate different foods that YOU enjoy and that YOUR body needs. I do not believe that there is a specific meal plan designed for everyone, so although we will be working to balance your meals there is no specific plan that everyone will follow.

Am I encouraged to write down what I eat?

Yes! Keeping a food journal is an important part of your new healthy lifestyle. Journaling helps us become aware of what we are eating, how much we are eating and why we are eating certain foods. Journaling can also help to identify certain food triggers/sensitivities as well as emotional eating triggers.

3: Do I have to purchase special meals, supplements or shakes?

No!! We will work to incorporate natural whole foods that fit into your lifestyle and budget.

4: Does the program offer healthy meal planning suggestions?

Yes, we will work to develop meal planning that fits into your lifestyle. Whether you are someone who is always on the go or someone who enjoys cooking, there is a way to work healthy eating into everyone’s lifestyle.

5: Will I be able to make changes to the foods I am eating based on my likes, dislikes, or food sensitivities?

Absolutely! This is your journey and my goal for you is to be successful. We will work together to incorporate all the yummy foods you like and get rid of any foods that are disliked or food triggers.

6: Does the program offer physical activity support?

Yes, we encourage you to find a fitness program that fits your body and lifestyle. We will help you discover which activity you enjoy and help support you to develop a routine. Starting Sept 2019, personal training sessions will be available.

7: Does the program offer ways to keep me motivated?

Absolutely!!! Whatever ways work to keep you motivated is how we will. Do you need daily reminders to take that fitness class – then we will work to develop those. Do you need weekly check in? You got it! Do you need motivational quotes – Done! Do you need help when food shopping? Let’s plan a grocery store tour together. Whatever you need to help achieve your goals, I am there to help!

8: Do you offer one on one coaching or group coaching? Both.

1:1 individualized coaching is available through in person sessions, video conferencing sessions or telephone sessions. As well as a private community-based FB group of other clients, so that you can get extra support and tips. There are also group coaching sessions available, so if you would like to start this journey with a couple of friends, we can develop a specific group coaching package.

9: What happens after I complete the program?

You will be equipped with the tools you need to continue on your journey, however if you feel that you would like additional support, we can work on creating either bi-weekly check in or monthly check ins, as an add on service.

10: How long is the average program?

It is recommended that the program is between 3 to 6 months, studies have shown that this is the average time it takes to change habits. However, we can always adjust program length based on an individual need.

11: Is the program just about food?

No, we will work together to develop lifestyle habits that include, physical activity, stress management, sleep routines, how to eat out/social events, environmental toxins that may be affecting you, how to eat healthy at work, etc.

12: Can I speak with my doctor before signing up?

Absolutely, we encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider before starting any program.

13: What is the total cost for the program?

The price will vary based on the length of program you decide you need. Please feel free to contact me directly for further information

14: Are there any additional fees?

You can choose to add on different services, such as a Grocery Store Tour, Pantry Clean out, Additional sessions, Personal Training (Sept 2019), etc. But these are completely up to you if you decide to purchase. No pressure!
