Menstrual Cycle Tracking.
Menstrual Cycle Tracking.
At the young age of 9, I started tracking my menstrual cycle. This was something that my mom taught me and told me was important to do. As my journey with endometriosis started, I would see how tracking could help. Menstrual cycle tracking helped me learn when and what was going on with my body during certain weeks of the month. It wasn’t until recently that I began to learn how to support my body more during these times.

What is Menstrual Cycle Tracking? Simply put it’s keeping a record of your menstrual cycle. It is a great tool to help you learn and support your body during the different menstrual cycle phases.
How do I track it? It’s pretty simple and takes probably less than 2 minutes per day. Decide how you want to track, then once your period starts record it. As time goes on learn to listen to your body and what you are experiencing. Track symptoms, moods, cravings, energy levels, etc.

Why should I track? Tracking helps identify irregularities in your cycle. It is great for tracking fertility, monitoring symptoms, and managing health conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, etc.
Where can I track it? That’s really up to you. There are plenty of options available. I started when I was young using just a calendar, but now I use apps or journals for more in-depth. You can use a calendar, a journal, or one of the great apps available like Flo, Clue, or Glow.
