Sometimes eating healthy can seem overwhelming with all the information out there, but it doesn’t have to. It can be easy to start incorporating small routines to get yourself on the right track to a healthy lifestyle. As a Holistic Health Coach, I have put together some helpful tips for eating healthy.
Having a healthy gut is important for our overall health. Healing your gut helps your body maintain a strong immune system. When we are dealing with Endometriosis, this is especially important. Endometriosis can cause digestive issues such as bloating, diarrhea, constipation, gas, and much more. Making sure that we are doing what we can to keep our digestive tract healthy, may help with these symptoms. This is my favorite time of year, the sun is shining, days are longer and everything is in full swing. It is also when I look forward to going out for a beautiful dinner on the water and kicking back. Living my healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy a good dinner or dessert. I follow the 80/20 rule, which means that 80% of the time I follow a clean, healthy regimen but sometimes my body has cravings… this is where that 20% comes in.
